i am such a red bubble addict. I check it out like every 10 minutes or so. My boyfriend had to get to come to bed at arond 3 am because I was so involved. I get withdrawal symptoms.eahhks. Thank u for you lovely and positive comments.
Just took down some of my work from a galley in town. It had ‘no title’ in it and I sold it! Yey. Now I can sort of almost pay my rent.Yyeyyeyyey.

Shikah, this is a wonderful shot.

Not least because of the fact that you’ve taken it via double exposure and printed it yourself. Can image the final print must be beautiful.. Whilst I have a healthy respect for photoshop, my heart is still with film and the fast dying out processes of self developing and printing which remain our photographic legacy.

Regardless of the above, it’s the final image that counts and this is a cracker.

Thank you all so much. I love being in the darkroom and I love film. I have borrowed a D200 for the moment and I find it too soft. I may feel differently about digital cameras when I can afford an H1. But Using film still gets me exhited. I am trying to get work and have some possible clientele but no equipment at all. But I think where there is a will there’s a way.
    Love shiks.

Wow Shikha, this is just amazing. Truly beautiful. I came for a quick RB fix before dinner and ended up being sucked into RB again with this beautiful image. I have read each and every comment on here.

Now I am just a beginner so apart from what I’m learning in my digital photography course, (which is not a certification course by the way, just a hobby course) I know nothing about traditional film photography and processing. So I have the utmost respect and awe for your amazing talent!

What is the relationship between the woman and the plant? Maybe she feels like the plant, delicate and sharp-edged and yielding and full of life. Maybe the plant is a memory of hers or a spirit in her. THis is lovely, shikha. Makes me wonder about what the story could be.
