AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL?

Artist's Description

America the Beautiful, the land of opportunity
So that’s how it use to be
Soldiers homeless on the streets
In a nation where there bed is made of cardboard and concrete
Our children wander about, not knowing what to do
So they turn to crack cocaine because we caused them to
Murder is a common thing to the unborn child
Do you think God looks upon America with a loving smile?

The drugs we use is not the cause, but the excuse to do
So we make it hard for those who need them, and hard for the children too
The elderly buys them from the streets
Because America has become irresponsible and weak
Depriving the ones who are in need of them
Is to unjustifiably condemn
Too much power by the government, less to the people
This has been there goal all the while to make its citizens unstable

Smut and filth is everywhere, in the car and the living room chair
Parents too busy to even notice and some who just don’t’ care
Still, from sea to shining sea our nation turns its head
To them, it makes no difference to the parent who lost a child and now is dead
To all the unborn babies who horrifically perished because of lust
Oh Dear God in heaven, how You must be so ashamed of us

What has happened to our land that has gotten so far out of hand?
Covered in prosperity from sea to shining sea and across its beautiful land
Once a proud and successful country that our forefathers proudly built
Now has come dependent on other nations, for she cannot bear her guilt
Instead of Sunday school, our children are at home with a hang over because of the night before
And far too many of our precious little girls, have become unwelcomed whores
Continue to take prayer out of schools, and continue to be ashamed of His name
Go ahead and take it from the almighty worshipful dollar, and in the public domain
Continue to tell our children they don’t’ need to pray
Let them know publicly His word must go away
You Godless hypocrites that lead our land
Your building America on sinking sand
You’re brave enough to suck the existence out of a little baby before it begins a new life
And allow men to marry men, and women the same, dishonoring the vows of a husband and a wife

Our soldiers who more than there country loved
There life they sacrificed
Oh America, fall on your knees that God give back your life
The shameful face of our leaders today, have disgraced our forefathers with strife
Committing adultery with America she no longer shines so bright
The government that once held high Gods name
Is the one that is now disrespecting its foundations the same

Its beauty is tarnished in the patriots dream
While America is loosing her royal gleam
Oh beautiful America, God shed His grace on thee
Now stained with blood and wounded pride for we no longer see
You think God is not angry for what we have turned his land into?
Are we too late to mend the wrong and its end pursue?

We live in America that has become, “Once Upon A Time”.
The brightness of her glory no longer so graciously shines
Stained by the blood of the silent voice
Who is denied to come into this world without any choice
Her alabaster cities that once gleamed, are now pooled with a mothers tears
We’ve allowed this government to claim the lives of those that we love so dear
There killing our children in the wars and even on the streets
Sacrificing unborn children, all these in the name of progress and peace
How much longer will God not roar?
How much longer before He closes His door?
We have brought the sorrows we bear upon our own land
Don’t’ blame it on God; it’s not by His hand
It’s our own fault that God has looked away
We curse His name, and deny our children’s rights to publicly pray
God can not be turned off and on like a light switch
But if we humble ourselves before Him and our wrongs admit
He will turn to us and our nation once again will be blessed
By every mouth that opens and publicly we confess
So the next time you want to shout out His name “Oh my God”
Remember this land he gave to us, and that He controls the rod
May God have mercy on our land, and our every being.
The creator of heaven and earth, Christ our Lord and eternal King
Amen
