Roller Stairs

Not sure what these things were for, but i can only imagine it was for access to the top of the machines that have been removed from this area since the place closed. I couldnt help but think of aircraft stairs when i saw them though, perhaps brought on by the fact the place we had stayed the night before was directly under a flight path of an airport.

Awesome. They do look like the aircraft stairs. i see water on the floor, is there much damage as in some of your buildings

Not too much with this one, piles of scrap and stuff about but not too much in the way of kiddiot or pikey damage.

I prefer the industrial stuff as well to asylums etc to be honest, its going to be my goal to try and beef up that side of my portfolio this year :)

Nice image!
We had stairs just like these in the newspaper press room where I worked.
They were for getting to the top of the press around the back side.
