Halfway House
The remainder of a building, partially demolished stands right on the waters edge at an abandoned shipbuilding yard. What were once doors into rooms now lead to a drop where the side of a building has been removed.
Have a look through the rest of my portfolio to see more pictures from the abandoned buildings i visit.
Or you could view my current set where i explain the process and situations you bump into walking around and taking photos in derelicts, which can be found here

Stark naked. All of it’s dressings ripped away, and left to stand naked in front of it’s peers. Very nice work again Richard!!!
Christine Beswick
What an evocative image! Real feeling of desolation there. The red and green contrast beautifully with the almost monochrome elsewhere; did you work on the colour, or is this just as it was? (Not that it matters, I’m just curious)

A very dark, gloomy mood. Goes well with the feeling of loss that radiates from the subject. The sky has a painted quality. What a wonderful image!

Love the capture. Intriguing subject, perfect colour tone for an abandoned building. Not sure what PS techniques you used, but the results are magnificent. I’m impressed.
