“Saint Peter’s Basilica is a Late Renaissance church located within Vatican City. Saint Peter’s Basilica has the largest interior of any Christian church in the world. While it is neither the mother church of the Roman Catholic Church nor the cathedral of the Bishop of Rome, Saint Peter’s is regarded as one of the holiest Catholic sites. It has been described as “holding a unique position in the Christian world” and as “the greatest of all churches of Christendom”".

A shot of the top of the largest church in the world. St. Peter’s Basilica, the Vatican. Taken on June 12th, 2012, with a Panasonic Lumix G1, and further edited in the Snapseed iPad app with later touch-ups in CS5.

Much better when viewed in large.

I use a G2. with Four Thirds Lenses.

  • Thank you. I am still on the old G1. Nearly upgraded this year, but at the last minute though, ah, what the heck, still life in her yet.
