Shot taken at Holy Island (Lindisfarne), Northumberland, with a Panasonic Lumix G1, 14-45mm lens on July 31st, 2009.

Three separate exposures merged into HDR via Lightroom, Photomatix and CS3.

Much, much better when viewed in large format I feel.

Would love to know your secret to making these images so fantastic. I’m a beginner photograhper . Your work is inspirational!

  • Sheryll, just go for it. I too class myself as a beginner. These images were taken when my camera was only 3 days old (well, it was the third shoot) – just be prepared to whittle away time in Photoshop

You must really have a talent for photography then because my first pics didn’t and still do not turn out like yours. I need to invest in photoshop. My editing program is too basic. Love your treatments.

  • Photoshop really is magnificent tool, I love it, try and a get a free 90 day trial at least, if you search around on Google I am sure you can find something
