Shelly drew a cat when she was in Grade two and it got printed. She knew it was the start of a big career. She qualified as a designer and has worked in several top agencies. After a number of years Shelly decided to broaden her visual, technical and conceptual know-how – so she sentenced herself to another four years of hard labour at University in Johannesburg. She achieved first place for various classes on numerous occasions, and was released with an Honours Degree in Fine Art. Whatever she did must have worked, because since then, Shelly has been involved in several award-winning campaigns over the past years.
Most recently she achieved National Awards for Illustration and Design and a Craft award for Illustration. Shelly is often called upon by her peers to judge advertising and design awards. Having recently emmigrated, Shelly has set up an advertising agency in Melbourne Australia.
