Yes Mike technically your right. But to the artist the color he paints or sees…is the color he loves. That is the color of his life through his art at that moment.
I knew an art teacher a long time ago, who gave a child a zero on his work because he painted a tree blue. She told him trees aren’t blue, they are brown. The teacher was quite surprised when she found out that his Mom told him the world can be what ever color he wanted it to be. Everyone sees the world through different eyes. Guess who is Mom is :))
