Common Australian Crow – Euploea core corinna
FAMILY NYMPHALIDAE (also called Oleander Crow). Knowing my luck, the one time I see a butterfly not fussed about moving any time soon and I was just about to leave the house! Still managed to capture a few shots, hopefully he will come back to visit soon :)

Taken in Brisbane, Australia.

ISO: 100
Aperture: f/8

you’re too good at this (I had the same trouble with Rick and Bernadette)

    :)

  • I’m doing better now I’ve discovered the magic of flash! Just really brings out the details perfectly. I’m surprised I got a worthwhile shot considering I only took about 3 shots like this and one close up of its wing (he was also actually upside down, thank heavens for rotate image eh).

    Rick and Bernadette??
