Oh the memories. I walked this beach many times when I was pregnant with my first child. Then, as the child grew into a toddler, there were many happy hours spent on this beach as the little one played in the tide pools with his mom and dad. Pregnant with my second child, I walked this beach again. While the memories are sweet, I still recall how we often had this beach all to ourselves, like a private hide-a-way. Thirty-six years later and taking my grown children to this beach, what joy to find that this place still remains pristine.
