What medium did you use. It is just so elegant!
Carolyn Staut replied
Thank you Karyn. It is a combination of many things actually. From sketching to acrylics. All done on PS and Painter. I am so glad you like it. I have a series planned…..now let’s see if I can carry it off LOL!
Jim Phillips
Flowers and seashells, two of my favorite things. Beautiful combination Carolyn. As always well done.
PS. Carolyn, my wife is absolutely nuts over your work.
Carolyn Staut replied
Thank you to your wife and to you Jim! Yes, I do love flowers and seashells. In fact, it was practice painting flowers and seashells that helped me master skin tones for portraits as the subtle graduations of tone and color are similar….or they are to me! LOL So, I have been trying to combine the things that I love to paint. Thanks so much for the lovely comments.

Jim’s wife isn’t the only one that is nuts over your work because so am I. I just adore it. Another wonderful piece.

Well Carolyn, you’ve done it again! This has so much eye appeal and so much to look at it requires the viewer to slow down and really look. It’s wonderful to see this at full size and note all the fine work in it. Once again you’ve filled your work with light and it’s a delight to the eye.
Carolyn Staut
LOL, thank you Holly. Yes, I have everything but the kitchen sink in there! I tried to use the seaweed as the greenery to compliment both the flowers and the shells. Thankyou so much for you wonderful comments.
