This painting is of two things I love, shells and roses.
Yes, I do paint using Painter and a tablet. However, all the paintings are based on my photographs. As many of you have experienced, we often wish that we could take that photograph and change the light and composition as WE feel it, as We envision it. Even though I may capture a great subject with a photograph, painting allows me to emotionalize the subject to express the feelings that the photo brought out in me.

    Oh, thank you Larry. Gotta laugh tho, been sitting on this one for a few months and just needed to tweak it a bit. All good things come to those who wait, as my grandmother used to say.

    I am once again in awe!!!!! I can’t take my eyes off of those water droplets … they are EXQUISITE!!!!! I love the whole flow and mood … sooo soft and warm and filled with light!!!
