I brought these poppies home last week with only the buds. I have had such a delight in watching them bloom. Nothing says Spring! like some red poppies!

Thank you so much Bonnie. I struggled with how to photograph them to have an interesting background. I finally settled on some gift wrapping paper LOL! What we won’t do for a composition!

Oh my goodness Carolyn!!!!!!!!!!! I thought this was a ‘traditional’ watercolour!! This is so beautiful and SO thoughtfully and creatively done. You used gift wrap for the background? How clever are you! What a great idea.
I love the three poppies ….their ‘faces’ are angled so well with one smiling at us and the other two drinking in the sun. It’s just a truly lovely piece of art and so well crafted!
