The inspiration for this piece was the joy and freedom from pain that allowed me to create again. Although I dislike to name just one who inspired me and was such a strong prayer partner and warrior, I have to say that redbubble artist Holly Cawfield was the lead inspiration for this piece.

Thank you Jim. My grandson was by my side while I created this one. Of course, he had some creative input. He loves colors as well and thought there was a joyful dance going on, thus the name. As always, your support and encouragement is treasured.

Wow! This is wonderful Carolyn! These stunning colours initially draw the eye, swiftly followed by the movement of a dance of worship by the angels around the Lord. It’s present but it’s past…...the very timelessness of worship since the beginning. I keep staring at this and seeing the water in the background makes me think of the Flood when a dove was sent out…...or seeing such beautiful light and thinking angels around the throne …........I am truly moved and blessed by this stunning piece of work.

Dearest Holly, I can’t thank you enough for your kind words and your prayers as well. I could not decide whether to name it Living Waters or Angel Dance so my grandson suggested the Angel Dance. Since I am easily swayed by his charms…........I went with Angel Dance. I am amazed at all you saw in this piece. Sometimes I am surprised when others see what I see but greatly thankful when they do! This piece is dedicated to you and so many others who were prayer warriors for me. I have struggled with whether or not to have it done up on canvas for a show/competition coming up…..........but I think you all have convinced me that it might indeed be a good idea.
