Symbolic Wonders
While visiting the Grand Canyon, I entered a place called The Watch Tower. I was too much of a sissy to climb to the top. Waiting below while my husband and son made the climb, I looked up to see this marvelous ceiling filled with what I thought were Petroglyphs (carvings in stone) but realized that they were in fact Pictographs (paintings on stone). The symbolism is from the prehistoric art of native american peoples. Each symbol represents the spirit of who created them. As I snapped away on my camera, I was awed by the colors and textures. This piece is an abstract of what I photographed. Later, I will upload the original image that inspired me. I hope you enjoy this one.

Symbolic Wonders belongs to the following groups:

LOL! I think I fell out of the box kj! Gotta laugh, daring enough to try this but too much of a sissy to climb to the top of the tower! Go figure. Thank you for your wonderfully encouraging comments.
