Now isn’t this a thought-provoking piece Carolyn! it’s one that invites the viewer to study it…..which is precisely what i’ve been doing. i find it interesting that the brightest hues are at the nose, mouth and ears—-an emphasis rather different than on the eyes and it is that which provokes thought to me. the power of smell, or taste, or hearing which communicate light and life in ways less obvious sometimes yet with significance. the dark of the eyes speak to me of deep and reflective thought and the stunning splashes of colour throughout to me speak of the variety and creativity of the human spirit.

it intrigues me Carolyn…....and it’s perfect to see the rays flooding into the head from above…the source of all the creativity splendidly divine. this evolution of yours is inspiring. great strength in the profile…..there is character in that nose.

i think this is one of your best and it’s a new favourite!!!!!!

I love this. When I look at it I see a horse hidden in the image and horses are one of my fave things. Maybe it’s only me who sees the horse but anyways, I LOVE this piece.
