Having children was a shocker for us. Though they are the most beautiful creatures on Earth, their beauty waned every night, from, oh, say about 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. when they decided to fill the world with screams that would echo in our head for the rest of the busy day.
Oh, to have the luxury of corn cobs for the ears! Sheep really are the fathers of invention when it comes to avoiding unpleasant situations in a good way. Come to think of it, husbands are really good at that as well, if my memory serves me correctly. I’m sure they’re in cahoots with the sheep; they must have a conspiracy going on somewhere.
