2008, Acrylic on Canvas, 16” x 20”

This artwork was painted in 2008 – a Presidential election year, when the first woman candidate and the first black candidate were carrying on debates with some other colorful, slightly aged contestants for the throne in the pasture of the United States.

It’s been a year when we had our share of bull-sitting, indeed, as candidates insisted their positions on current events were the correct one, their solutions the best, and all the others are for nil. Of course, they wouldn’t be politicians without a bit of flip flopping – giving us a whole other view of bull-sitting. Politicians, gotta love them – they always inspire me to go live on an uninhabited island.

I love this. I have been a great fan of yours since many years ago when I first saw your work on the e-place (you know the one). My favorite then was the sheep that tipped over because he was standing on the side of a hill. You have a great talent and a great sense of humor. You are just plain great! CS
