After growing up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Shed Simas moved to British Columbia, Canada, to attend university. Through the progress of his education, he has come to focus his artistic practice on photography, drawing, and fiction writing, while also practicing design professionally.
While his interests are varied, he is especially interested in nature and environmental issues, and international and popular culture. He recently had three works (“Woodhaven TCG,” “Western Screech Owl,” and “Woodhaven Jewels”) featured in the Woodhaven EcoArt Project, for which he also did several design jobs.
