I live in Biloela, a small country town (where it hardly ever rains) in Central Queensland, AUSTRALIA.

First of all…..I’m not a 1st class photographer. Far from it as a matter of fact. I just know what I like. Photography is many things to many different people; and far too often people just don’t perceive the fruits of your efforts with the same appreciation as you do. But that’s ok…..I do this to please only 1 person….ME!

I have been taking photographs for about 3 years now. Cramming a life-time of learning into a couple of years is definitely a task, but I’m learning as I go. Slowly and surely.

I have a total appreciation and preference for B&W photography, with portraiture being my passion. I love images that are powerful and thought provoking, the more unconventional the better. It’s not that I don’t appreciate colour photography…I most certainly do…but I find it distracting. Many will strongly disagree with me here, but I don’t believe you can deliver the same impact or achieve quite the same reaction in colour, as you can with B&W. But that’s just my opinion and like I said, many will strongly disagree.

Never-the-less, photography is my passion. A release…and something I waited far too long to do.
