I tickled a dolphin's tongue

We had decided to take a holiday to Coff’s Harbour it was a great road trip, my dad was a great driver, my mother never missed a sign and my son and I would always let dad know when a special marker or photo spot was comming up. We arrived at Coff’s Harbour and were reading up about local attractions when we came across the pet porpoise pool it sounded good, so we decided tomorrow we would go. We found the place but all we could see were big sheds. You have to be joking this place is terrible, but we had driven a long way so we went in, 1st thing we came across were some emus and kangaroos, then some white cockeys walking on a wooden beam. I sneezed and one of the cockeys said “hay fever” well I nearly dropped my camera and said yes I do have hay fever, we went on in and found a seal show just about to start. It was the best seal show that I have ever seen and the men who did all the talking were great. The seal was named fritz and he was giving all the ladies kisses and because I was videoing I was left alone, but one little girl said that lady with the video didn’t get one, so he gave fritz 2 big smelly fish and sent him to me. Talk about being sealed with a kiss. Everyone laughed, it was a good show. After that there was another show with lady a very big seal and when that finished out came the dolphins. My son and I got to feed and shake their flippers, they did some great jumps and tricks. It was the 1st time we could pat the dolphins and were told the right way to do it. One of the men asked me would I like to tickle the dolphins tongue? YES I sure would he gave the dolphin the signal to open it’s mouth, and it did. He told me to put my hand in it’s mouth and tickle it’s tongue for some strange reason I trusted this man and I did what he said and Yes I tickled a dolphin’s tongue, it was great and I got to pat the dolphin again, it was wonderful a great day and it was the best show I have ever seen. Never judge a book by it’s cover. I have never forgotten my trip to Coffs Harbour or the day I got so close to dolphins (you can see the photo in my bubble page)

This is just AWESOME, Sharon! What a wonderful trip!
Yes, in the States, people sometimes like to go to Las Vegas or some other city with more noise and commotion than I can tolerate. My idea would be something like your trip, then a stay in a cabin or tent, the way I used to do. I can’t believe your dad’s so nice about stopping at all the signs and markers! I’ve never met a guy who would do that for pictures and such. Your mom evidently knew what she was doing when she scooped him up. And, hey, pretty fair writing, too.
What did the dolphin’s tongue feel like? I can only imagine its stinky breath!

Good story Sharon, however there a some grammatical errors in the story. Like no use of commas or fullstops where due and poor sentence structure. Please dont feel i am just being mean. I am not, cause i enjoyed the story as the next guy. Please watch my pointing out the corrections that are needed as a way to improving a good story.
