THE BIRTH MARK FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE

My dad was the only boy out of 6 children, so when he had his own he was hoping for a boy but no luck he had 2 girls, I was the next best thing I was a tom boy and we did evrtything together. When my 1st child was born it was a boy and my dad was so happy, he did everything for him from being his taxi at sports and helper no matter what. When my next son was born dad was ill, but a new baby around gave him a bit of energy and he started doing thing again.Just over 2 years later my 3rd son was born and dad was a lot worse. A few months later we found out dad had cancer and only a few months to live.Everytime he saw the boys he would just hold their hand and look at them as he knew he would never see them grow up. He kept saying to me “don’t let them forget me” and I promised they would remember him. Dad died on the 9th March 1999 5 months after my son was born. My dad had a birth mark on his right arm, my son did not but a few weeks after dad died a birth mark appeared in the same spot as dad’s was, it is the same shape, size and colour. It even has hair growing out of it just as dad’s had.It’ dad’s way of saying no way will I be forgotten. My son is very proud of his birth mark as his poppa gave it to him, he calls it his special spot .It’s hard for other people to believe his birth mark came from beyond the grave.

Sharon, What a touching story. I had Anthony Hopkins in the part of father. You took me to the movies with that one. I had the theater to myself. Too bad this was such a short feature. I shoul dlike to watch more…. Verrrry Nice. Sincerely, Rhino
