Lets Go For A Walk
This used to be part of the famous Stockton-Darlington Railway line that George Stephenson used way back in 1825, with his engine The Locomotion.
As a child i would often play down here with my friends, its more overgrown now, and the trees and wildlife have transformed this area..

Frosty February

I think this is fantastic Shaz, it reminds me of The Derwent Walk which is just yards from my house.

Thanks chuck, Its a lovely place, You’ll have to take some piccies of the Derwent Walk and pop them on Red bubble, would love to compare….
TFFDavid
Yeah I will do.
There used to be a railway line went from Newcastle to Consett for over 100 years, I believe the last train ran in the mid 60’s . . . now it is used by walkers joggers, people on mountain bikes and horses. It’s teeming with wildlife as well.

Impressive choice to use the digital watercolour.
excellent powerful Autumnal colours and a good perspective with the wooden fence, leading us into the scene.
I like to be proud in the knowledge, that the north east of England was the birth of the world’s railways.
