Now that is too cool!!! (I know cool is a word from the past, but it fits, sometimes. LOL) I am impressed with your idea, composition, and rendering of this welcome. Those eyes and that smile remind me of the angst I felt when driving in New York City for the first time. What a perfect capture of a visitor in a BIG city- Great picture!... The surrounding of the buildings was a great idea. It’s easy to feel small and lost on a first visit to a big city, especially if you don’t know the underlying rules and cultures. Welcome to the big city, the green apple where you have to ignore the white lines in the road and move fast if someone honks… They’re just trying to let you in. I tried to stay in the lanes the first visit.>>> chaos. On the second trip, I was given the follow the car in front of you and forget the lines advice. It worked. Thanks for the memories. I love your photograph.
