A week ago we went on holiday in the West African country of The Gambia. One of the main reasons we went is to see some of the wonderful wildlife, more specifically the amazing array of over 570 birds that have been spotted in the country, some of which migrate from Europe to winter in the region.
I think this shot is of a weaver bird but I am not 100% sure, I have tried to track it down on-line but have been defeated!! Any help in identifying it would be greatly appreciated. Any old how it is a lovely looking bird sitting pretty in the warm Gambian sunshine!
