I live in Lancashire and have a passion for travel, photography, wildlife and the great outdoors; why I ended up working in IT I am still trying to puzzle out!

I have always enjoyed taking photographs and have usually had a “point and shoot” camera with me during my holidays around the world and in the UK. A couple of years ago my friends started buying DSLR’s which piqued my curiosity; I was intrigued but slightly daunted because I had never used one before. I bought a Canon 400D a few years ago and read many books and magazine and talked to anyone I could about the wonderful hobby of photography. I still have so much to learn about this amazing medium and look forward to enhancing my knowledge and technique over the years to come.

I would say the best thing about Redbubble is the people I have befriended online and have been fortunate enough to meet in person, all of which have become very good friends.

Looking at some of the amazing photographs on RedBubble inspires me to get out and use my camera more (if possible!!)
