The fall foillage is sparce in the Hill Country of Texas due to lack of rain. However, the little water in the Guadalupe is enough to make these Cyprus trees go full color. This was taken with a canon PS D 870 IS on auto setting.
These magnificient Cypress trees grow along the bank of the Guadalupe River in a little rural Texas town called Waring. Crossing a narrow bridge one has to park and walk across the bridge to get a photo.
God stood on this bridge with his palet of paint and waved his hand toward the sky and painted these giants. Because of the drought this was the only color for miles along this rural road.
