I am employed full time in what can be, at times, a very challenging area of Community Outreach, and enjoy photography as a form of relaxation at the end of my working week.
I have always had an interest in photography and have taken photos of many varied subjects.
Since joining Red Bubble I have found a great interest in photographing flowers, particularly roses, which I have here on my main page.We have a beautiful Park here in Burnie and I have taken advantage of the glorious roses on display there, and at various other locations on Tasmania’s North West.
Since recovering from an illness last year, it became a personal goal of mine to create a Garden of 100 Roses – A place of Healing and a garden where others can wander and reflect – take personal time out – “Stop and Smell the Roses”.
I have now reached that goal and have the 100 Roses on display … so please feel free to visit – and if you wish, leave a comment.
I also invite you to take a walk through my other Flower Garden
Sharona (until I can create a link)
I have also created a site for photos from my everyday life – from my world sharonjh (until I can create a link)
I have had no formal training and am looking forward to sharing some of my images and receiving constructive feedback and tips from more seasoned photographers.
