Sharon..I love this…I don’t know if I ever told you I am a bird lover…have over 100 pet birds..many
who were orphans or with problems…I adore them…wonderful photo…Sally xxoo
SharonD replied
Hello Sally,no I didn’t know you loved birds. You should see the two Indian Ringnecks I hand raised. One yellow and the other blue.I also took a few more bird pics at Burrinjuck Dam.Will post them soon.I also have a cockatoo,we found him on the side of the road ,he couldn’t fly.Later on he’s lost most his feathers.I didn’t know about beak and feather disease. He lives inside now.

Sharon..I have all kinds of birds from finches to a Blue and Gold Macaw..two of my Cockatoos
are feather-pickers..they are extremely stressful birds…and when I moved from one house to
another … they started picking and have not stopped….they’ve been to the vet and are healthy..
I also have a turquoise ring neck who is beautiful…the cleaning up part is hard but I have fun
with them singing and holding them..the cockatoos and my African Greys speak really well…
Was your Cockatoo diagnosed with beak and feather disease? Sometimes just stress…
Sally xxoo P.S. Can’t wait to see other bird photos…
SharonD replied
Hi Sally.Yes I took him to the vet and they said beak and feather disease.
