    G’day Sharon,

It never ceases to amaze me just what the horticulturists will come up with next. This ruffled Pansy is a very attractive flower and a pot or bed of these would look most attractive indeed.
The composition here is very good, allowing us to see the full structure of the bloom and making plenty of room for the light to shine in on the li’l Pansy’s face.
There are two things that concern me though:
    1. Watch your framing! This is a bit too tight at the top, making the image look like the flower is squashed into the frame. Don’t forget that a matt overlay will remove even more and make it tighter.
    2. Get that Clone Stamp out! It’s just a bit of tidying up really to remove those petals poking in from our left and that little bright distraction in our top right of frame.
Great light and exposure, good depth of field and focus, nice contrast and the flower’s unusual colour combination is shown well.
    Nice work GardenGirl!
