Yes, this is in macro – and I was unsure how it would turn out as it was shot in very open and brilliant sunlight. It is the most glorious protea I have ever seen. So glad you like it – many thanks for your lovely comment :o))

These are actually a native of South Africa Nira – but grow quite profusely here in Australia. There are many varieties and colours and are simply stunning.
