Hi Wendi – I have another of these on my site – the Leucadendron is native to South Africa, but is well suited for Australian condition an thrives here. It comes in a beautiful variety of colours, (but this is not one of them). I think the combination of the shade and filtered afternoon sunlight brought about this colour. Mind you, I wish we olud get it tin this shade …lol…

These are a native plant – and used quite often here in both dried flower and garden flower arrangements. They come in a varied range of colours. This came out the colour it did, mainly because of the light (or lack of) when I took this photo. Thanks so much for your very lovely comment.
