Pretty to look at . . . glad it's gone! by

A very nice, well-kept, antique wringer-washer from some of the quaint, lovely items in the large farmers market I visited. I can remember my grandmother using this thing (up until she died in 2000), and she had purchasesd two throughout her life. I was amazed to know that you could actually still purchase the style in the 80’s, when she purchased her last one!

This is fantastic…. I have one of these is in a child’s toy version and it still works. I cannot remember when Father Christmas brought it but it is at least 60 years old – regards, Mattie
