I decided that I was going to count the time travelers, but I got so absorbed by this incredible artwork, that I forgot that I was supposed to be counting! I think I got up to twelve…..this is such a passionate piece; so packed with emotion, and tumultuous motion as these spirits make their journeys to and from destinations only known to those with the gift of light, for it is only they that have the power to do so…...The outer areas of this seem full of anticipation and almost a sense of urgency; the travelers are on a mission to the inner areas which are well known for regenerating and healing before they make the journey back…..I see a magnitude of time, eras gone by and those yet to come…..the more I look at this, the more I am drawn into the deepest blue area, for to me that is the calming point where the healing takes place. I absoluetly love this Sophie….you are an incredibly talented artist!!! So am I completely off the wall with this? Anyway I thought you might like to hear how my mind is working (or not) after a long, very long week in the Accounting world! Hugs my friend, and have a wonderful weekend!

I love the style in this painting. the linear strokes create such a wonderful texture and contrast to the wide bold streaks of color. such an incredible feeling of energy. you have captured the essence of time and space being limitless and ever-expanding and yet here and now and beautiful

Quarry sensing danger, blast through the intense twilight; unseen to our eyes
And under the ice, the grand behemoth lurks, right eye in a slit, arms opened wide
The hunter now the quarry, about to be consumed, and in ignorant bliss
and “Unhelped by any wind, the travellers move on.”
