The Metamorphoses by the Roman poet Ovid is a narrative poem in fifteen books that describes the creation and history of the world. Written in 8 AD, it has remained one of the most popular works of mythology, being the Classical work best known to medieval writers and thus having a great deal of influence on medieval poetry.

The creator stands to the left in the void… seeing many layers of time…fold and unfold again… above the green orb of earth…. the question arises who is watching the creator… the eye….......b

Another gorgeous painting that is a great pairing for your wonderful narrative. The color tones are exquisite and like your text, I also perceive the essence of antiquity during medieval times. There are so many images that I could look at all the intricate elements all day as they move and change shape evolving into more perceptions. This is truly a feast for the eyes and soul.
