Plato's Symposium
The philosophers of Ancient Greece drew upon the concept of Spirit Helpers. Plato’s Symposium describes them as envoys and interpreters, who not only carried prayers up to heaven, but also descended with commandments and responses from the gods. According to Plato, every human being possessed a Spirit.

Maureen, The daemon...the fiery spark from the original world for Soul, had the power to guide or instruct and its advice could only be heard by those you were pure in Spirit. Plato’s convictions were later echoed by Huichol Shaman, Pedro de Haro, who said that to see Spirits requires a pure soul.

Linda thank you! The wax is a lovely medium but I have missed my old methods this week! I like the feel of my paints and pigment and generally making a big mess!
