The Statue is of the Lenged himself Sir Donald George Bradman, (27 August 1908 – 25 February 2001), often referred to as The Don, was an Australian cricketer, widely acknowledged as the greatest batsman of all time. Bradman’s career Test batting average of 99.94 has been claimed to be statistically the greatest achievement in any major sport! The Don is a Legend!
The Church in the background is about 400 Mtrs away From This statue, it’s called St Peter’s Cathedral, Adelaide. The Cathedral building itself is a landmark in the City of Adelaide, an important part of the city’s heritage. However, the Cathedral is much more than a beautiful historic building. It is also the mother church of the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide and home to a dynamic and inclusive sacramental community, which cherishes excellent liturgy, music and preaching. Trust me, this Cathedral is MASSIVE!!!
