wowsers…this is a beautiful image! is it maybe a type of Staghorn Fungi? if u don’t get an id try sending an image to http://www.ubcbotanicalgarden.org/forums/ ...they’ve a special link there for fungi and mushroom identifications…

Thanks so much SauriaMami – I’ll do that! With a name like that do you happen to like reptiles!? Check out my other images.

haha..YES! i LOVE reptiles….....and u’r the FIRST person in 6 YEARS to figure that out!!! my name simply means? Dino Mom….... :o)

  • Shannon Plummer replied

I also love reptiles but have a particular fascination for lizards hence recognizing the ‘sub-order’ name.

i’ve had some very odd guesses that almost led me to dropping it? but i’ve held it for over 6 years now…
my son and i’ve collected/raised/photographed/shared sooo many types of snakes and other wonderful local fauna….but we love our 5 Lined Skinks the most…we had a momma lay 11 eggs and they all hatched into beautiful silky blue tailed lizard babies…....and she stayed with them till they DID!

Wow – what a good mum!

lol…i didn’t know everything (still don’t) about those little things till we caught her that summer…it was a complete thrill to release them once they were all hatched….they just GLOWED! and it was a great experience for me and my son both
