The store desperately needed their safety posters re-designed. The previous posters were A4, Times New Roman, 16 point and printed on yellow cardboard with no illustrations or images.
The eight new posters feature bright, bold illustrations and simple, clearly stated information. The purpose of the posters was the main factor driving design choices. The illustrations are simple and informative rather than decorative. Gill Sans was chosen as the font due to its clean form. A select number of colours were chosen to appeal to the 15-25 year old average age of staff in the store.
