It is the card that advises cutting out waste and insists that the Querent make adjustments, do whatever is necessary to bring things back into balance: physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually.

scales trying to keep their balance.
Not a sword..for cutting the important from the suprefluous,
but…
there is a cutting crescent moon over her head…
that seems to act as a knife..
a mental knife ready for radical discernment.
She is nutritious..
here..she is offering the red apple of self-knowledge,
and the spiritual uplifting of her feathered body,
half angel,
half mother.

Wow, just stumbling round in the redbubble world and browsed through your work. I shouldn’t say browsed, this piece just reached out of the computer and demanded my attention. I know you placed an explanation beside it but I loved the conflict of concepts, original sin, religious structures and the struggle many people have to balance spirituality and the basic needs of life. ( You wouldn’t believe I’m an atheist. ) Love this!
