this rosary takes on much more of a meaning because it belonged to your grandmother.certain objects are so very important to us after a loved one passes, because we are able to hold on to something that was important to them, and we are able to feel their spirit with us.
Shannon Donovan replied
Michael thank you very much for your comment! I agree with you completely. I have several keepsakes from my grandma and I cherish them very much…:-)

Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Beautiful, beautiful tribute. EXCELLENT still life.
Shannon Donovan replied
You just gave me such a set of chills and God’s tears…thank you my dearest Laura for the comment and the fave…xoxoxo

Andrew Wakelin
A lovely image with a lovely story behind it. I am fascinated by the blurred background do you remember what it is you were driving past at the time?
Shannon Donovan replied
Thank you Andrew. You know? You are the only one to ask that question! I appreciate that. I was actually entering a local park by my house. It has small ponds filled with fish, turtles, etc. When I was little, my grandma and I used to walk down to the lake by my house in Michigan and feed the geese. When I took this picture, it was actually the 10 year anniversary of her passing, so I was heading down there in reverence…thank you..

I read the comments about this rosary, Shannon!!! I love that you share this symbol with us and I´m happy that you believe in this symbol!!! I have the watch of my dead father and whenever I wear it I have the feeling that our souls merge in one body!!! He and my grandpa will will in my body as long as I live!!!
I´m very touched by this work, Shannon!!!
Shannon Donovan replied
Thank you so very much Klaus, for commenting on this, and for sharing a bit of your father. I am touched by this. I have had this rosary in my possession for many years, and after my grandmother passed away. She taught me a lot as a child about faith and hope, love and belief. The rosary hangs now on the rearview mirror in my car. It is where I took it the picture from..xxx
