Fallen birds
This painting is very textured and incorporates a little mixed media.
I did it on board which i love because you can work roughly and quickly into the surface.
Blue always symbolizes sorrow for me.
She has a wood grain to her skin and becomes part of the leaves from which the birds are falling.
At this time I was thinking allot about the destruction of the natural environment around us and how much we are part of this moving and growing world.
