On September the 19th /2007/I turned on the radio/opened my laptop/listened to the news and this image resulted.
Burma
On September 19th/ 2007/it is thought that possibly 2000 or so monks were part of a protest march and demonstration in the city of Sittwe.
28th September:The internet access was cut and warning given to journalists
6th October:Internet access was restored for a period.

Love everything about this image. The light bulb idea is so good and beautifully executed. I really like the architectural theme in the background and the yellow light is gorgious. I am very happy for you it is seen and regonized.

the globe was photographed in an old building in Shanghai/photographer’s home/old globe hanging on a stairwell /covered in cobwebs/a beauty of its own and so appropriate that it come to life .The building is the graffiti area between Flinders and Collins/looking skywards which also seemed appropriate
