I found you gone without a trace...........ANNIE JONES
ALZHEIMERS.
HERALD SUN/SUNDAY/MARCH 1st/page 94/Australia
Annie Jones..you had me in tears!
This is an article/interview about how Annie Jones/ gave away her brilliant acting career to care for her mother who was stricken down with ALZHEIMERS.
This a MUST read and such a humbling story…....
The image created here : my thoughts of Annie ’s mother. I know she was in her 60’s when the reality of life started playing games with her mind but this is how I see what happened .What is real breaks away/becomes segmented…...and all the things one loves become separated…..........something breaks from yesterday
The mind so fragile and YES only those very close family members notice the differences in behaviour / at first…....

i have rather distressing experience of altz. I’ve effectively given the last two years of my life (and possibly my career) because of it. It is a hideous disease – but one that teaches the carers many wonderful lessons. I wish I’d learnt them better …
shanghaiwu replied
this image is just for YOU!
I hear your words LOUD and CLEAR…you also are very special and it is very important that we share our thoughts as that is how we heal and move on….....and this happens very slowly/I appreciate what you have said here/take care and be kind to your self. No-one’s life is perfect…..whatever people have to say!

Annie Jones acted with Kylie Minogue in Neighbours/this is where many young Australians tested out their acting skills/maybe we have not seen or heard the last of Annie Jones

love your words/the bike image was taken in Broken Hill. The bikes beautifully arranged on a wall/although old/still perfect. I see age as nothing/it is what is in the head…............the reality is that life must be lived to the fullest /whatever age/as none of know what the future has in store. and really it does not matter…...TODAY is what is important.
thankyou Mary

this image nearly made me cry as I too have a personal experience of caretaking and Alzheimer’s dis-ease. Your title could apply to Annie Jones’ mother; it really depends on where mother is in her journey with invisiability. You have made an incredible piece of artwork, Wu and I thank you.
Peaceful days and dreams,
