I have put this series of Japan and China together . It is especially to remember my friend I walked with in both Shanghai and Hiroshima. She died tragically 2 years ago and it is that time of the year…............where my thoughts fly to her…..........and her family!

such wonderful comments/I started taking photos in japan instead of keeping a diary and would send images home to share with family and friends so they could also share the experience so it became a bit of a habit which I cannot now throw off……...hope you like this image……...sorry images seemed to change unexpectedly and will add again soon

YES/there are many amazing stories and facts about costume and masks in Japan. Noh is another example …....one could spend a lifetime studying this famous art. But this wonderful fellow dons this attire every cherry blossom season in Japan and can be found during ohanami at the Kentaikyo Bridge /not far from Hiroshima and Miyajima Island.
