..........................................................................................................

ZERO TOLERANCE for PEDESTRIANS who do not cross at traffic lights and become a positive nightmare for drivers……....you do not have to be drunk to be stupid in Melbourne….just watch a pedestrian. They step out between cars at anytime of the day and night/ignore that RED means STOP…......

THE RIGHTS OF A DRIVER!!

BEIGE IS DEATH has featured this image..BRILLIANT!

FUSIONartPHOTOGRAPHY.com

Make our city safe….......it is possible to enforce ZERO TOLERANCE.
This policy is operating in many countries….........it is the only responsible decision!

..........”James Macready-Bryan will forever be the face of the drunken violence on Melbourne’s streets.

A punch in the back of the head in a city alley almost 2 years ago left the now 21 year old with a massive head injury/unable to talk/feed himself or control his movements…................”

The Herald Sun /Tuesday/Sept 16th/08/page 13

Check this newspaper TODAY and you can see James as he is now.

His friend /Adrian Smith/my friend and neighbour/now 23 years old was with him on that night. They were celebrating James’s 20th birthday. A night which would change so many lives forever.

James’s friends have formed

STEP BACK THINK

STEP BACK THINK

....an awareness campaign about the life changing consequences of alcohol -fuelled violence.

so one could say..well what happens now
who is responsible for what happens after dark on the streets of MELBOURNE

STEP BACK THINK

A representative from this group should be invited to speak in school assemblies/parent groups/businesses …................the possibilities are endless/this concerns us all and we MUST get the message.

YES

we are all responsible /as we are a society who are allowing drugs/alcohol to rule….........

ACTION IS NEEDED…..FAST /particularly around the KING STREET/nightclub area.

*Just as an afterthought/no school age /under 18/should be admitted to any of these premises and if so….............

this is not the 1st time this has happened and it seems at least once a week another situation arises in out city area/where another young person is at RISK/another death/another family full of heartbreak.

I think people are so “de powered” by authorities that they enact out their own sub conscience mind of “worthlessness” onto the outside world via their inner world. The total loss of personal power or “loss of one’s spirit” then manifests as latent self abuse and suicidal tendencies. The drunk or drugged individual hates him or herself and cares little about life outside and hence gets labelled “zero tolerant” which I feel comes from the Americanisation of religion into “good” and “evil”. If one is not part of our elite puritanical group called “good”, then one is “evil” or “useless” in the eye of “god”. Like a gangrenous limb, the youth are severed as being “useless” to the overall good of the organism. If the “righteous” keep purifying the “wrong” then no one will be left, as it is divisive in it’s approach and void of love. Great work and thought provoking.

    phew/powerful words!

maybe my thoughts are a little more simplistic….....I LOVE youth/YOUTH is beautiful/energetic/full of dreams….........well that is how it should be.

dreams for future must be entangled with EDUCATION.

Thugs in society should not be tolerated.

These THUGS are robbing families of their precious children.

If they are found to have take another’s life through bashing/alcohol related behaviour…..the LEGAL SYSTEM has a duty to REMOVE THEM FROM SOCIETY/throw away the key if the crime is very serious. YOU take another’s right to life and then YOU also SUFFER the same. If the LEGAL SYSTEM is letting society down….... they also should be REMOVED.

If there is no room in the prison system/build more prisons with NO PRIVELEGES.

basic decent treatment of one man for another is a RIGHT.

the question I have to ask

WHO IS TEACHING VALUES THESE DAYS…........

I cannot even ride on a TRAM these days without being witness to BAD behaviour.

Those responsible are drug addicts/alcoholics…and the conductors !
The CONDUCTORS have become a bunch of BULLY BOYS. A camera certainly comes in handy at times!

Values come from parents/grandparents…...BUT in the end the individual must be responsible for one’s own behaviour.

    what is the answer!

maybe MORE POLICE and certainly MORE CONSEQUENCES.
