in The World As We See it…. or as we missed it9/2010

A boy and a girl dressed in period clothing of the 1800’s walking down the roadway at the This is the Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City, Utah.

This is the Place Heritage Park is built at the location where, on July 24, 1847, Brigham Young first saw the Salt Lake Valley declared “It is enough. This is the right place, drive on.” Indicating that this valley was the place where the pioneer’s journey was at an end and in this valley they would build their city. There is a city as it would have looked in the 1800’s even those who volunteer to work there dress the part.
