We arrived here just as the sun was setting and I loved these statues in silhouette against the sunset on the Mississippi River in Historic Nauvoo. These Statues stand on the hill where the Nauvoo Temple has been restored. They are statues of Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum on their horses as they might have appeared back in 1840 or so.
