i once had a shard of molten aluminium hit my eyeball and it had to be scraped out with a scalpal.
:)
diamonds near the eye are just not a good idea regardless of how good the photo turns out.
mind you a good photo is hard to capture, but there are plenty of models willing to risk blindness for their aims..

You worry too much. The diamonds were adhered to the fake lashes first, well away from the models eyes, then attached.
