HDR and Infrared Version of the Lower Wekiva River This is a small portion of the Wekiva River In Seminole County Florida. This stretch of the river is it’s widest point at about 400ft across. The deepest this stretch gets is maybe 2ft . 1/2 mile up stream the river narrows to about 60ft at it’s widest with depths to 8ft. Timucuan Indians lived along this river as well as Creek and a few prehistoric tribes.
